The Wii is getting a dose of old-school Pokemania (without the mob this time) as the classic N64 game, Pokemon Snap, arrives in the Virtual Console channel in Japan. Another game to appear on the virtual console is StarTropics..

The original Pokemon Snap had players taking pictures of Pokemon but the Wii version has one additional feature: you can now post photos on the Wii Message board and share them with friends. The game will be available for 1,000 Wii Points.

The other game that will appear on the Wii’s Virtual Console is StarTropics, an action-adventure game that was developed (but never released in) Japan. Both games will arrive this December in the Virtual Console channel in Japan.
